The team loaded up this past weekend and headed to Marshfield for the annual Fall Shootout Special. With 30 quality SLM's in the pits we knew it was going to be a tough field of cars. We qualified 7th with our fastest lap ever at Marshfield (18.345). The features consisted of twin 50 lappers, the first 50 we finished 10th and the second 50 we ended up 9th.

Sunday night we ran at Norway for the Labor Day 100. With the rough weather and the horrible shape the track was in the early afternoon we hardly got any practice in at all. Our results in qualifing showed it, 14th out of 31 cars. We won the fast heat and then we started 14th in the 100 lap main. The feature went pretty good for us, battled our way to second and finished the night with no damage!

What a heartbreaker last night for our team. Qualified 3rd out of 30 cars, the dash was our test session to make sure it was right for the 111 lap main event! We lined up 10th for the start of the A main, finally the car was good on the bottom or the top! Just as we took the lead on lap 44 the rack decided to let go. Then on lap 59 our night ended, finishing 12th.

This past friday night we raced at the Norway Speedway for the second round of the Auto Value series. We've been trying new set-up/spring combo's so the testing stages been up & down. We qualified a very dissappointing 9th out of 31 cars, finished 4th in the fast heat. The feature sure didnt go our way, being in the wrong lane at the start drug us all the way to the back. After 50 laps we ended up finishing 11th, next week we will be back at Norway for the annual Stateline Challenge 111 lap LM feature! Racing starts at 7pm.

Last night we raced the Werner Electric 50 at the Norway Speedway. We qualified 4th out 26 cars, finished 5th in the fast dash. After starting 16th in the 50 lap main event we raced our way to a solid 5th at the end of the night! The TK Motorsports team will be back home at the Norway Speedway friday July 29th!

FINALLY we get a win at Norway! After qualifying 4th and finishing 2nd in the dash we rolled the dice and made a ton of changes to the car before the 50 lap LM feature. In the early stages of the race we sure didnt have a winning car but it seemed more cars fell off quite a bit more than us and we drove the wheels of the old girl to victory! A total team effort, a huge Thank You to all the team members!

The TK Crew raced at Norway this past friday night for their season opener. Started out the day qualifying 6th out of 34 cars which put us on the pole for the 10 lap fast dash. With taking the win in the fast dash, the crew made some good adjustments for the 50 lap main feature which we raced hard to a second place finish! Also a big Congrats to Tanner Kelly for winning his first A-feature in the fab 4's!

After a disappointing weekend at WIR, the shop is very busy with anticipation for this weekends 50 lap late model opener at the Norway Speedway saturday night. The TK team will take the white/blue 77 ride saturday, that car lead the team to two track championships there. The team started a new relationship this week with Redline Sport & Marine out of Norway, with that we have high expectations coming into the weekend! See ya at the track, racing starts at 6pm.

The Joe Shear Classic ASAMT race was this past weekend. We practiced pretty decent saturday afternoon on older tires. Sunday we started the day off on the wrong foot qualifying 30th out of 37 cars so that put us starting 12th in the last chance race. We ran hard and ended up with a 6th place finish to lock us in the 136 lap main event! In the main feature we started 22nd, but with some quick cautions and the new pick a lane we worked our way to the top 10 very quickly. Our day ended on lap 85 with a mechanical failure that put us finishing a disappointing 22nd in the race. The 77 team is off to WIR next for the annual Dixieland 100 race May 15th!

Pellegrini Tours is planning on having a fan bus heading to WIR for the ASA Midwest Tour race on sunday May 15th. I know its many days away but plan ahead on this one! I believe Bob Rochon will be the pilot, there taking a 47 passenger bus.
Tenative info i got so far;
-For bus groups of 45/50 people Steve(ASAMT) will discount there race tickets from $15.00 to $12.00.
-Most likely a seat on the bus will be $16.00 per person(adult or child)
-leave from Norway(maybe school parking lot) around 10:30 am?
-Call Bonnie Rochon 563-9496 to sign up
-Or you can call me also, i'll do my best to answer your questions
